What is the VISION COACH?

The VISION COACH is a large interactive light board measuring 50" x 34" which is attached to a counter-weight, wall mounted slider for effortless height adjustment from floor to ceiling. Microprocessors and software are contained within the unit. No external connections are required. A USB Port offers data collection and future program upgrades. An alphanumeric LED display is positioned in the upper right corner and shows time (in seconds), score, and late scores only during programming and at the end of each trial to ensure no visual distraction during use.

How does the VISION COACH operate?

The individual positions' facing the display at eye level and reacts to the lights as they appear in a random series by depressing each light as quickly as it is seen. The VISION COACH display is not a touch screen surface. Accuracy and pressure is required to depress each light. Each light has a "tactual" feel and an auditory tone when depressed. The VISION COACH is available to those who may have limitations such as hemiplegia or amputation by depression of the lights using the finger/knuckle, parts of the palm or back of the hand, and can also be used by those who are physically unable to touch the display by use of visual/verbal recognition and reaction. With the ability to integrate a Fixator Light, Letters and Numbers, Red or Green Lights,
11 Distinctive Visual fields, 12 Different Speed Settings, 7 Exclusive Light Settings and the use of Red/Blue Goggles for Binocularity Enhancement, individual training opportunities are endless.
